WHAT IS FARE?

Fare is an independent biannual print magazine; each issue of Fare is an exploration of a single city’s culture through intersecting stories and features on its local food, history, and communities.


WHO MAKES FARE?

Fare is made as a passion project by a very small team of creative professionals. We don’t have a ‘marketing department’ or a ‘customer service team’ – everyone wears several hats in order to contribute and make the magazine as amazing as it can be!


DO YOU TAKE SUBMISSIONS OR PORTFOLIOS?

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to take submissions due to the nature of the magazine. At the start of each issue we research locals (of the featured city) and contact them directly. Because each city choice is a surprise, we don’t do open submissions.


HOW OFTEN IS FARE PUBLISHED?

Fare is published twice a year. Once in June/July, and once in Nov/Dec.


CAN I SUBSCRIBE TO FARE?

Yes! You can do so here. Subscriptions to Fare save 15%+ of the cover price, and ensure you’ll be amongst the first to receive a copy.

CAN I BUY BACK ISSUES OF FARE?

Yes! Most of our issues are in stock, and you can buy them individually here, or as a collection here.

I’D LIKE TO STOCK FARE AT MY SHOP. DO YOU WORK WITH INDIVIDUAL STORES? WHOM SHOULD I SPEAK TO?

DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY?

We ship worldwide, but don’t currently offer tracked shipping services on orders to certain countries. For many countries, at checkout you’ll have the option of using tracked or untracked services.


WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN UNTRACKED AND TRACKED SHIPPING SERVICES?

Untracked shipping is like the mail you put into your local neighbourhood mailbox. There is no way to track it once it has been sent out, and we cannot offer refunds or reshipments on untracked orders if they’ve already been sent out (unless they have been returned to our warehouse).


IS TRACKED SHIPPING AVAILABLE FOR EVERY COUNTRY?

Yes, but not every country’s tracked shipping is listed on the website. If you don’t see a tracked shipping option for your destination country please email us to arrange for this.


I’M A SUBSCRIBER TO FARE. WHEN CAN I EXPECT THE NEWEST ISSUE OF THE MAGAZINE?

All subscribers are sent the latest issue of the magazine on the day it’s released. Please follow us on social media for updates on when that is.

HOW CAN I UPDATE MY FARE SUBSCRIPTION ADDRESS?

Please contact us directly to change your subscription address – the Squarespace system does not work for subscriptions!


HOW DO I CANCEL MY FARE SUBSCRIPTION?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to www.faremag.com/account.
